How we calculate

Methodology

The calculator combines a base hour range for the project type with add-on hours for each feature you select. We then apply multipliers for language (bilingual = +15%), design level (+0% to +30%), and urgency (+0% to +25%).

Hours are converted to KWD at our standard rate of 10 KWD/hour, the same rate published on our pricing page. Timeline is hours ÷ effective team throughput (120 hr/week at normal pace, up to 200 hr/week for urgent sprints) — we run multiple developers in parallel.

Estimates start at 300 KWD (a small landing page or KNET integration) and cap at 7,000 KWD / 6 weeks. Larger scopes are out of scope for fixed planning estimates — book a free consultation and we'll quote against our long-term partnership tier (up to 50% off).

The min and max of the range reflect the realistic spread we see on actual Kuwait projects of similar scope. About 80% of finished projects land inside the range shown.

FAQ — Kuwait project costs

How much does a web development service cost in Kuwait? +
A simple business website from a Kuwait web development service typically costs 500–1,200 KWD. A bilingual ecommerce store with KNET runs 900–2,500 KWD. Custom web apps start around 2,500 KWD. All quotes are at 10 KWD/hour.
How much does a mobile app development service cost in Kuwait? +
An MVP iOS or Android app from a Kuwait mobile app development service usually costs 2,500–5,000 KWD. Both platforms together (Flutter) cost 3,500–7,500 KWD. Complex apps with backend, KNET, and AI features can reach 7,500–12,000+ KWD.
Is this calculator a final quote? +
No. The calculator gives you a realistic planning range based on the inputs you select. A binding quote requires a 30-minute consultation to clarify scope, integrations, and acceptance criteria. The consultation is free.
Why is KuwaitDev cheaper than other Kuwait agencies? +
We bill at a transparent 10 KWD/hour, with no project markup, no reseller margin, and no hidden retainer. Most local agencies charge fixed bids inflated 2–4x because they bake in scope risk. Hourly billing means you only pay for hours actually worked.
Does the price include KNET integration? +
Only if you check the "KNET / online payments" feature. KNET integration typically adds 15–25 hours depending on whether you use MyFatoorah, Tap Payments, or direct-to-bank.
Is bilingual (Arabic + English) included? +
You can select Arabic-only, English-only, or bilingual. Bilingual adds about 20% to the build because it doubles the content, RTL layout work, and SEO setup.
How long does a project take to finish? +
Most business websites ship in 2–4 weeks, ecommerce in 3–6 weeks, mobile apps in 6–12 weeks. The calculator shows a realistic timeline based on your inputs.
Do you offer maintenance? +
Yes — choose Light, Standard, or Full maintenance in the calculator. Maintenance is also billed at 10 KWD/hour and covers bug fixes, content edits, and small features.
