How the calculator works

How we calculate
What affects the price
The calculator starts with a range of hours for the type of project, then adds hours for every feature you tick. A business website starts at 20 to 40 hours and a marketplace with many sellers at 185 to 320. A mobile app sits in between, depending on whether you need iPhone, Android or both.
Three choices then scale the total. Building in Arabic and English adds 15%, because every page is written, laid out and checked twice, once right to left. A custom design adds 15% and an advanced design with motion adds 30%. A fast pace adds 15% and an urgent one 25%, because more people work on your project at the same time.
Hours become KWD at 10 KWD per hour, the same rate published on our pricing page. The timeline divides the hours by what the team finishes in a week: about 80 hours at a normal pace, 105 when fast and 135 when urgent, since several people work in parallel.
Estimates start at 200 KWD, which covers a small landing page or a simple KNET payment setup, and stop at 4,700 KWD and 6 weeks. If your choices pass those limits, the panel tells you. Work of that size is better planned in a conversation, and longer partnerships get the discounts of 15%, 30% or 50% listed on the pricing page.
You see a low and a high figure because two projects with the same features rarely need the same hours. How much does a web development service cost in Kuwait?
At 10 KWD per hour, the calculator puts a business website of up to 5 pages at 200 to 400 KWD with a standard design in one language. Extra pages, a second language and a custom design raise it. A typical business website of 5 to 10 pages lands between 270 and 600 KWD, and a bilingual online store between 470 and 1,200 KWD.
How much does a mobile app development service cost in Kuwait?
An app for one platform, iPhone or Android, starts at 950 to 1,750 KWD before features. Both platforms together start at 1,350 to 2,250 KWD. With payments, customer accounts and notifications, a first version for both platforms usually falls between 1,670 and 3,000 KWD.
Is this calculator a final quote?
No. It is a planning range based on what you select. A fixed quote needs a conversation about the scope, the systems you already use and how you will accept the work. That first consultation is free, lasts one hour and is with an engineer, not a salesperson.
Why does KuwaitDev publish an hourly rate?
So you can check the maths. Every estimate is hours multiplied by 10 KWD, which means you can see what each feature adds and remove what you do not need. Longer partnerships get discounts of 15%, 30% or 50%, listed on the pricing page.
Does the price include KNET integration?
Only if you tick "KNET / online payments". That option adds about 60 to 100 KWD before your language, design and pace choices are applied. The fees the payment company charges on each transaction are separate and are paid to them, not to us.
Is a bilingual Arabic and English build included?
You choose Arabic only, English only or both. Both languages add 15% to the build, because every page is written, laid out and checked twice, once right to left and once left to right.
How long does a project take to finish?
The calculator shows a timeline for your choices, from 1 week up to its limit of 6 weeks. As a guide, a business website takes 2 to 3 weeks, an online store 2 to 4 weeks and the first version of a mobile app 4 to 6 weeks.
Do you offer maintenance after launch?
Yes. Choose light, standard or full maintenance and the panel shows a monthly range, for example 20 to 40 KWD per month for the light plan. Maintenance is billed at the same 10 KWD per hour and covers fixes, content edits and small additions.
