A redesign is worth doing when your website is costing you customers: slow on mobile, awkward in Arabic, hard to update, and written for a business you no longer run. We rebuild it without throwing away the search traffic you already earned. The work runs 27 to 85 hours at 10 KWD per hour, which is 270 to 850 KWD.
What an old site actually costs you
Nobody in Kuwait decides you are old fashioned in a meeting. They decide it in four seconds on a phone, in traffic, on mobile data. If the page is slow, the text is small, the Arabic is left-aligned or the phone number is not tappable, they go back and open the next result. You never see that visit as a lost customer, because it was never recorded as anything.
The second cost is internal. When the site cannot be edited by your own staff, it freezes. Prices stay wrong, the branch that closed is still listed, the services you have stopped offering are still the first thing a visitor reads. A site that your team can update stays accurate, and an accurate site outsells a beautiful one.
The third cost is trust. In Kuwait an Arabic page that reads like machine translation says more about a company than any “about us” paragraph.
What you get
- A site built mobile first, because that is where your visitors are.
- Real Arabic and English: right-to-left layout, correct typography, both versions written rather than translated.
- Speed work, measured before and after on a Kuwait mobile connection.
- Your existing search rankings protected through a mapped move from old pages to new.
- A clear next step on every page: WhatsApp, a form that reaches the right person, a call button, a location.
- Analytics installed and explained, so enquiries and traffic can be compared against the old site.
- An editor your staff can use, with training, and every login in your name.
How we work
- Free first hour with an engineer. We go through the current site, what it earns you today and what you want it to do instead.
- Measure before touching. Which pages bring visitors, which bring enquiries, how fast the site is, what people search to reach you. This becomes the list of things we must not break.
- Structure, then design. Pages and navigation first, then the visual work, using your real Arabic and English content rather than placeholder text.
- Build and migrate. The new site is built, content is moved, and every old address is pointed at its replacement.
- Test in both languages. Forms, WhatsApp buttons, Arabic layout, phone sizes, and a final speed pass before launch.
- Launch and watch. We publish, monitor search results and enquiries for the first weeks, and fix what the live site shows us.
Cost and timeline
| Scope | Hours | Cost at 10 KWD/hour | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small site, visual rebuild, same structure | 27 to 40 | 270 to 400 KWD | 3 weeks |
| Business site with new structure and content work | 40 to 65 | 400 to 650 KWD | 4 to 5 weeks |
| Large or multi-service site with careful migration | 65 to 85 | 650 to 850 KWD | 6 to 7 weeks |

Redesign, or start again
If your pages already bring visitors from Google, protect that and redesign around it. If the site is unmaintainable or built on something nobody supports, a fresh build through our web development practice costs less than repairing it twice. Staying on WordPress but want it done properly? See WordPress development. If the main complaint is that visitors cannot find what they need, the work is closer to UI and UX design, and if the Arabic side is the weak half, bilingual website development covers that specifically.
Pitfalls to avoid
- Changing every page address without redirects. The fastest way to lose the traffic you spent years earning.
- Deleting pages that rank. An old article bringing steady visitors is an asset, even if it embarrasses the marketing team.
- Redesigning on taste alone. Without before and after numbers, nobody can say whether it worked.
- Treating Arabic as a translation job at the end. It is half your audience, so write it as a first version.
- Launching without testing the forms. Enquiries that silently fail are worse than no form.
- Handing the site back to a team that cannot edit it. If your staff cannot change a price, the new site ages exactly like the old one.
