When a React developer is the right hire

Hire a React developer when the problem is the screen, not the system underneath it. The data is fine, the business rules work, but the interface is slow, dated, or so awkward that staff keep a parallel spreadsheet. React rebuilds that layer without touching what sits behind it, which is why this is usually a job measured in hours at 10 KWD rather than a new project.

The other case is a product that behaves like an application rather than a website: a booking flow, a portal where a customer tracks a request, a dashboard the sales team refreshes all day. Those interfaces have to respond instantly to every tap, and that is the work React is built for. For an ordinary company website with pages and a contact form, it is the wrong tool, and our web development practice will point you at a simpler build.

The Arabic side, which is where most React work fails

An Arabic interface is not an English interface with the text swapped. The whole layout mirrors. The menu moves to the right, arrows point the other way, progress bars fill in the other direction, and numbers with KWD amounts stay readable at three decimal places. Charts, date pickers and sliders are where this breaks, because most ready-made components were never tested right to left.

A developer who has shipped Arabic interfaces before knows this in advance and budgets for it. One who has not will deliver an English screen that looks broken to half your customers, and you will pay again to fix it. Ask to see a live Arabic screen before hiring anyone, here or elsewhere.

What a React developer builds for a Kuwait business

  • Customer-facing flows: booking an appointment, ordering with delivery zones, tracking a service request.
  • Internal dashboards where staff filter, approve and export, with permissions that differ by role and branch.
  • Replacement interfaces on top of an existing system, so the database and reports stay exactly where they are.
  • Bilingual forms that keep the customer’s input when the connection drops, which matters more on mobile data than any animation.
  • A shared component set (buttons, tables, dialogs) that makes every later screen faster and cheaper to build.

How the engagement works

The free first hour is with an engineer who will open your current interface and tell you what is worth rebuilding. You get an hour estimate per screen, book a block, and the developer works inside our product team with design and review support rather than alone. Screens are shown to you on a test link as they are finished, weekly, so nothing is discovered at the end.

What it costs

Work Hours Cost
Project setup and shared components 5 50 KWD
Bilingual customer booking flow 13 130 KWD
Staff dashboard with filters and exports 16 160 KWD
Connecting the screens to your existing data 7 70 KWD
Phone testing and handover 4 40 KWD
Total 45 450 KWD

How to start

Send a link to the screen that frustrates people most, or a screenshot if it sits behind a login. If the answer is a public site that has to rank in Google, a Next.js developer takes it. If the screens are fine and the problem is the data behind them, a Node.js developer is the cheaper hire. If nobody has designed the thing yet, start with interface design.

What we deliver

  • Screens built from your design, tested on phones before desktops
  • Arabic interfaces that are properly mirrored, not English screens with translated words
  • Staff dashboards and admin panels built for people who sit in them all day
  • Booking, ordering and multi-step forms that survive a weak mobile connection
  • A new interface placed on top of the system you already run, without replacing it
  • A shared component set, so the next screen costs fewer hours than the last
  • Testing on the phones and browsers your customers in Kuwait actually use
  • Code and design files handed over in accounts that belong to you

Frequently asked questions

React or Next.js?

React is the library that builds the screens. Next.js is the framework around it that adds page routing and server rendering, which is what makes a public site show up properly in Google. For a public marketing or ecommerce site, ask for a Next.js developer. For a dashboard or an internal tool behind a login, plain React is enough.

Can React work with our existing WordPress, Laravel or Odoo system?

Yes. That is one of the common reasons to hire a React developer by the hour. The existing system keeps holding the data and the business rules, and React replaces only the screens people complain about. It is far cheaper than a rebuild.

Can a React developer build our mobile app?

Not directly. A React web app runs in the browser and cannot be published to the App Store or Google Play. Mobile apps in React use React Native, which is a separate specialisation, and for most Kuwait projects Flutter is the route we would suggest instead. The free consultation is the place to settle this.

How long does one screen take?

A simple listing or form is usually a day or two of work. A dashboard with filters, permissions and exports is a week or more. The estimate depends far more on how many states the screen has (empty, loading, error, no permission) than on how it looks.

Do you design the screens too, or only build them?

Either. If you have designs, a developer builds from them. If you do not, our design work is billed at the same hourly rate and normally saves hours later, because most expensive changes are decisions that should have been made before any code was written.
